Christian Education (Sunday School)
The Christian Education Department provides educational opportunities for members/guests to enhance their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.
Focuses on all marketing of events through the use of the website, radio station, newspapers, and social media outlets.
Provides fellowship meals for various events throughout the year for the ministries.
Economic Development Ministry
Focuses on economic development opportunities within the community that is aligned with the church’s vision and mission.
Provides opportunities for our Seniors to fellowship and do ministry. Responsible for the ATOP Pride Day and assists in many events.
Welcomes Members/Guests with a bright smile and warm hug as they enter the sanctuary for worship. Responsible for the Angel Tree Outreach Ministry that provides gifts to children whose parents are in prison.
Assists Usher Ministry with Members/Guests that may become sick within the worship service. Provides various screening and health information to members/guests throughout the year.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Faithfully prays for the needs of the Church, Leadership, Members, and prayer concerns each Wednesday at 5:45pm and each 2nd Saturday for the Prayer Drive Thru.
Focuses on making sure the audio and visual aspects of the worship service are excellent so that those in the sanctuary as well as those viewing online can feel the presence of God in worship. Prepares CDs for distribution and edits video for the website and YouTube.
Focuses on developing the whole man with various opportunities for fellowship and studying God’s Word.
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. The Music Ministry also provides an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts and talents and be an integral part of the worship. ATOP’s choirs include: Sanctuary Choir, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir, Youth choir and Children’s choir.
Provides ministry outside the walls of ATOP with Nursing home worship services, hospital visits, and in home visits of our members and those in need.
Special Events/Volunteer Ministry
Assists the ministry with a smooth operation at various events with additional volunteers. These events include concerts, church picnic, and the Fall Festival.
Provides spiritual leadership for the ministry. Members of this ministry are personally chosen by our Pastor and must complete a training process.
Student Ministry (Ages 3-18)
Provides opportunities for all teens and youth to learn about the Word of God, to do ministry within their communities, and to minister in various ways within the church. The Student Ministry has its own worship service in the Education Building the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays. Each 4th Sunday, the Student Ministry ministers in the main sanctuary. A nursery is available for children ages 3-5.
Provides transportation for members to attend the worship service on Sundays and to attend various church-related events throughout the year.
Provides assistance in the worship service with the seating of Members/Guests and while assisting with any concerns that may arise with the worship service.
Focuses on developing the whole woman with various opportunities for fellowship and studying God’s Word.
